Dr Callum Fealy

General Practitioner/Anaesthetist
Dr Fealy is a General Practitioner/Anaesthetist and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Fealy founded Gwydir Medical in 2019. He has an interest in all aspects of General Practice with a special interest in Perimenopause, Menopause, Men’s Health and Otology.
Dr Fealy is a VMO at the Moree District Hospital providing elective and emergency anaesthetic services as well as participating in the on-call roster for anaesthetics and the Emergency Department.
Dr Saman Maheepala
MBBS, MS, MRCS, FACRRM
General Practitioner/General Surgeon
Dr Saman Maheepala is a General Practitioner/General Surgeon and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Dr Maheepala joined Gwydir Medical in February 2020. He has extensive experience in general surgery and has worked around the world as a General Surgeon over the past 20 years. Dr Maheepala sees and operates on the common General Surgical problems including but not limited to: gall bladders, hernias, vasectomies, carpal tunnel, colon/gastroscopy and complex skin cancers requiring grafts.
Dr Maheepala also sees and treats a wide spectrum of acute and chronic General Practice conditions.
Doctors run their own independent medical services business from this location. All clinical fees charged to patients are determined by the Doctor.
